A dramatic walkway pinned to the walls of a limestone gorge above the Guadalhorce river, once the "most dangerous path in the world" and now fully restored with safety railings. The 3km circuit is unlike anything else in the region and needs a booked timeslot — it sells out days ahead in high season. Access is via Ardales, about 45 minutes from the house.
Simon's tip
Book your slot online well in advance (the official site is the only reliable source) and go early — the gorge gets brutally hot by midday in summer.
