A cooler-months classic for working up an appetite: park by Marbella's marina and set off along the promenade towards Puerto Banús — about 6km of coastline, big villas and beach bars (stop for a drink whenever one calls). In Banús, lunch at Pizzeria Picasso on the front line — book ahead, it gets busy — then wander the marina gawping at the superyachts and supercars before walking your lunch off on the way back.
Park at Central Park Marbella by the marina and set off around 11am.
Walk the promenade the full ~6km to Puerto Banús — coastline one side, mansions the other; stop at a beach bar for a drink whenever you fancy.

Simon's tip
Start around 11am so you arrive hungry for a 1pm-ish table. Book Picasso ahead — the queue is real.
